Terms of service

Last updated 14 August 2026.

1. What Momentum is

Momentum is an online intermediation service. It lets adults with ADHD find independent coaches, book sessions with them, and pay for those sessions. It also provides focus session tools.

Coaches on Momentum are independent practitioners. They are not employees, agents or representatives of Momentum. They set their own rates, decide their own methods, and are solely responsible for the services they provide and for holding any credentials they claim.

Coaching is not therapy, medical treatment or diagnosis, and nothing on Momentum is medical advice. If you need medical or psychological care, consult a qualified health professional.

2. What it costs

Creating an account is free for members and for coaches. There is no subscription fee and no charge for listing a profile.

When a client pays a coach through Momentum, Momentum retains a fee of 3% of that payment. This fee is deducted automatically at the time of payment and is the only remuneration Momentum receives. Payment processing fees are charged separately by the payment provider and are not set by Momentum.

3. Payments

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Money paid by a client is settled to the coach's own connected account. Momentum does not hold client funds on the coach's behalf.

Because the payment is made to the coach, the coach is responsible for refunds and for any payment dispute raised by their client. Coaches must state their own cancellation and refund policy on their profile, and must honour it.

Where a refund is owed but the coach's balance is insufficient to cover it, the refund may remain pending until the balance allows it.

4. How coaches are listed and ordered

Coach profiles are only published once they are complete: a photograph, a written introduction, stated rates and stated availability. Incomplete profiles are not listed and are not indexed by search engines.

Where coaches are listed together, the default order is based on profile completeness, stated availability and how recently the profile was updated. Momentum does not accept payment for a higher position, and paid placement is not offered.

5. Changing these terms

Momentum may change these terms. Coaches will be notified of any change at least 15 days before it takes effect, and may close their account before then without penalty.

6. Suspension and termination

Momentum may restrict, suspend or terminate an account where a user breaches these terms, misrepresents their credentials, or where required by law. Except where the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it, coaches will be given a statement of reasons before a suspension takes effect, and may contest the decision by writing to us.

7. Your data

Coaches can retrieve the data relating to their own account and their own clients on request. See the privacy notice for how personal data is handled.

8. Complaints

Complaints about Momentum itself can be sent to hello@momentumforadhd.com. Complaints about a coach's service should be raised with that coach first; if that does not resolve it, write to us.

These terms are drafted to cover the platform's actual operation, including the disclosure obligations that apply to online intermediation services. They have not yet been reviewed by a qualified lawyer and should be before the platform takes its first payment.
